Amtech®™ Training
Some of our Clients have
used Amtech on several occasions and have noted a number of
peculiarities when using the program and in particular the single line
diagram, we believe that these should be covered in the session.
Areas where our clients have experience problems (maybe with early
versions of Amtech®) or which they consider are of particular
interest are:-
Peculiarities of the single line diagram. How to accurately
depict various circuit arrangements with the symbols available,
eg, an MCC Outgoer (Fuse Switch) feeding a cable which in turn
supplies an Incomer (Fuse Switch) for an MCC, etc.
Parallel
supply cables, such as Main and Generator supplies to a Panel,
the delta loop circuit cables from a panel mounted Star/Delta
starter to the field mounted motor, etc.
The
peculiarities of bus bar symbols and tap off points.
The order
in which a model should be constructed, ie, identifying those
data fields which are interrelated in some menus, changes in one
menu automatically modifies data in another menu, etc.
Discrimination issues, ie, circuits employing a mixture of
Fuses, MCB's, ACB's., installations where there are several
tiers of distribution boards/panels which make full
discrimination difficult, etc.
How to use
Amtech Protect for MCCB/Fuse comparison and any other features
it has that will be of use.
